Would be nice if they accepted drop offs during their hours of operation. They turned us away due to "closing" at 2:45.

The website of Wakulla County Landfill suggested that their facility is opened today, December 27 2016, but it is closed, so, I have to take my trash to Tallahassee. Bad customer service. Should improve!
In the contract, it states they have to pick up bulk items from customers "within 3 business days of customer calling"....but in reality they will only do it on the first Sat. of the month. And only one piece....according to a friend that just called this week to schedule it. Here I am trying to call them on a Friday to pick up four dining room chairs. Tomorrow is the first Sat. of the month, but no answer on the phone and I surpassed the limit of one item so looks like I'm out of luck! BUT! If you just need your trash and recycling picked up, they can do that.... When is their contract up?
Hours listed as 8-5 on Fridays, but they won't actually answer the phone.
